CHCF Report and the DHCS Response

In November 2005, the California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF) released the report titled "Performance Standards for Medi-Cal Managed Care Organizations Serving People with Disabilities and Chronic Conditions" to the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). The report presented 53 recommendations for improving healthcare delivery in the DHCS Medi-Cal Managed Care program.

DHCS prepared a draft response to the 53 recommendations from the CHCF and held a public comment period through July 31, 2007.  Comments received during this period are currently being reviewed.
