Medi-Cal Beneficiaries by Age/Demographics

Medi-Cal Beneficiaries by Age Category, County, Gender,
Plan Type (FFS vs. Managed Care), Aid Code, Aid Category, Ethnicity, and Language.

The source of these data is the Monthly Medi-Cal Eligibility File (MMEF). A four-month lag was used for each eligibility month; for example, for the eligibility month of Jan2000, the file created May2000 was used.

This file was created in Microsoft Excel and utilizes a Pivot Table. Note that the Pivot Table was added to permit the user to summarize and analyze the data interactively.
