Do not need to file an annual statement until April 1 of the next annual filing cycle (i.e., appointed October 31, 2008 – do not need to file annual statement until April 1, 2010. The annual statement will cover the day after you assumed office [October 31, 2008] through December 31, 2009). |
The Statement of Economic Interests Form 700 is a public record and will be available to the public for seven years. Thus, it is extremely important that each form is completed correctly and filed on a timely basis.
