Medi-Cal Managed Care and Medicare Part D
The brochure, "A New Medicare Prescription Drug Plan for Medi-Cal Managed Care Members," was designed to provide information in a question and answer format, to Medi-Cal Managed Care beneficiaries in order to assist them in making a decision about which Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) is best for them. The brochure includes a Prescription Drug Record to list all current prescription drugs. This tool can be used by beneficiaries or others that may be helping them in comparing the drug formularies (a list of drugs and medications provided by a health plan) of individual drug plans. By comparing the drugs they are currently taking to the drug plan formularies, beneficiaries can make a more informed choice as to which plan best meets their prescription drug needs.
