LEA Report to the Legislature, September 2006

As part of Senate Bill 231, DHCS is required to file an annual report to the Legislature.  This report includes a comparison of school-based Medicaid systems in comparable states; comparison of school-based Medicaid total and per eligible child claims and federal revenues; summary of departmental activities; school-based services and providers approved for reimbursement by CMS in other state plans that are not reimbursable in California's state plan; recommendations made to DHCS; timetable for state plan amendments; and barriers to LEA reimbursement.  Click on the links below to view or download the annual report and appendices.
