Request for Application (RFA) for Providing Medi-Cal Managed Care Services in 28 Fee-For-Service Only Counties

Beginning in June 2013, the Governor’s Budget proposes to expand managed care into rural areas that are now Fee-For-Service (FFS) only.  This expansion will provide beneficiaries throughout the state with care through an organized delivery system.  The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Medi-Cal Managed Care Division (MMCD), is soliciting health plans’ interest in providing Medi-Cal Managed Care services in 28 FFS only counties.

(07/09/2012)  The Office of Medi-Cal Procurement announces the release of VERSION 2 of the Plans' Response to the Request for Interest for the 28 County Managed Care Expansion.  An error has been corrected in this revised release of the plan's responses to the RFI.
