External Quality Review Organization Project Request for Proposal (RFP #12-89002)

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Medi-Cal Managed Care Devision (MMCD), has released this Request for Proposal (RFP) to secure a Contractor to perform the services required under the External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) project.  The role of the External Quality Review Organization is to conduct annual independent reviews of the quality of services provided to Medi-Cal beneficiaries by contracted managed care plans.  DHCS requires these reviews to ensure compliance with Federal and State statutes.

The DHCS Office of Medi-Cal Procurement (OMCP) is advising any vendors, firms or interested parties intending to bid on this contract to monitor this website for any updates to the procurement.
