Other Health Coverage Identification & Recovery Project (RFP 08-85000)

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Third Party Liability and Recovery Division (TPLRD), is soliciting proposals from firms to administer the Other Health Coverage Identification and Recovery (OHCIR) project.  This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits proposals for the start-up, operation, and eventual turnover of the Medi-Cal OHCIR project.  DHCS is seeking a contractor that will aggressively pursue identification of other health coverage (OHC) and the collection of outstanding obligations to the State.  The purpose of this procurement is to secure a qualified and responsible Contractor to ensure effective and efficient identification and recovery of Medi-Cal fee-for-service (FFS) payments from Medi-Cal beneficiaries’ OHC benefits at a reasonable and fair contract price.

** All compensation to the Contractor shall be based solely upon a bid percentage on actual recoveries made **
