Rate Reimbursement Support Services Project Home Page (RFP #08-85158)

The Medi-Cal Benefits, Waivers Analysis & Rates Division (BWARD) is compiling a Mailing List for the Rate Reimbursement Support Services Project, RFP 08-85158.  The BWARD seeks a Contractor with Medicare, California Medi-Cal and other State experience in Medicaid health care reimbursement rate setting, and litigation support of such rates.  Work will include but is not limited to: analysis of data elements and verification of rate reimbursement model; report writing/analysis comparing Medi-Cal rates/methodologies with Medicare and other State Medicaid rates; maintenance of the Medicaid reimbursement methodology for various providers; evaluation of Medicaid reimbursement levels and trends and relating such information to issues raised in litigation and regulation development; providing expert witness in litigation matters.  The Contract start date is July 1, 2009.
