The Office of Clinical Preventive Medicine

The Office of Clinical Preventive Medicine (OCPM) strives to improve the well-being of all Californians by promoting health and preventing disease.  OCPM works to integrate preventive care into medical practice, particularly in Medi-Cal and serves as a point of communication and coordination between the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Department Health Care Services (DHCS).
