Stakeholder Outreach and Engagement
The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is hosting an introductory stakeholder outreach and engagement event on
October 26, 2015, in Los Angeles County. The purpose of the outreach and engagement event is to identify stakeholders to participate in a November stakeholder meeting hosted by the State 811 Team on the design for the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 811 Project Rental Assistance (PRA) Round II award received by California for the city and county of Los Angeles.
The State 811 Team consists of DHCS, the California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA), the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), the Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC), and the Department of Developmental Services (CDDS).
This outreach and engagement event is targeted towards Los Angeles County providers, community organizations, managed care plans, and county and city departments that directly work to transition – or support the transition of – disabled Medi-Cal members between the ages of 18 and 62 that are currently residing in institutional settings. The primary goal of this event is to identify key stakeholders who are interested in participating in the larger 811 Round II stakeholder group.
