Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program Eligibility

Under the federal Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program (BCCTP), full-scope Medi-Cal services are available for a woman who meets the following requirements:

  • a resident of California;
  • has been screened and found to be in need of treatment for breast and/or cervical cancer, follow-up care for cancer, or pre-cancerous cervical lesions/conditions;
  • under age 65with satisfactory immigration status; and
  • the doctor performing the screening determines that her monthly gross family income does not exceed 200% of the federal poverty level. These income limits change every April. Please call for current income limits.
