Evidence of Citizenship

In an effort to address questions received on the evidence of citizenship and identity requirements included in All County Welfare Directors letter (ACWDL) 07-12, the Department is posting questions and answers to the DHCS website.  The questions and answers posted here provide clarification of the citizenship and identity requirements for Medi-Cal eligibility issued in ACWDL 07-12.  The questions and answers are organized according to the topics in the Table of Contents for ACWDL 07-12, and therefore, they are to be treated as official Department policy.
