California Mental Health Planning Council (CMHPC)
The CMHPC is changing the appearance and content of it's website beginning in March 2013. Some content may be missing or hard to find. Please bear with us during the process, your patience and understanding is appreciated. We hope to have the website update completed by early summer 2013.
The California Mental Health Planning Council is mandated by federal and state statute to advocate for children with serious emotional disturbances and adults and older adults with serious mental illness, to provide oversight and accountability for the public mental health system, and to advise the Administration and the Legislature on priority issues and participate in statewide planning.
Meetings
The California Mental Health Planning Council holds quarterly meetings in different sections of California to allow maximum participation. In January we schedule meetings in the San Diego area. In April we visit the Los Angeles area and in June we visit the San Francisco bay area. Our October meetings occur in Sacramento.

This June, for the first time, the General Session of the CMHPC Quarterly meeting will be available via conference call.
