Loan Repayment/Forgiveness Program

Through funding from the National Health Service Corp (NHSC), the State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) is responsible for repaying educational loans of primary care providers. Eligible providers include medical doctors of osteopathy in family practice, general internal medicine, general pediatrics, and OB.GYN. Also eligible are physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified nurse-midwives, general practice dentists (DDS or DMD, psychiatrists, clinical or counseling psychologists, social workers, marriage and family counselors, mental health counselors, and licensed professional counselors.
