OSHPD participates in the Federal Cooperative Agreement Program, which seeks to strengthen the community-based system of primary care for medically underserved areas and/or populations (MUA/Ps) of the state.

The Cooperative Agreement Program provides technical assistance to clinics and other primary care providers in designated Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and data analysis services.
