Emergency Preparedness - Technical Assistance

The Primary, Rural, and Indian Health Division, California State Office of Rural Health provides free technical assistance to any Indian Health Clinic that might request additional on-site assistance with emergency preparedness activities. The assistance includes help with developing an Emergency Operations Plan, and/or receiving aid in initiating or developing a partnership or collaboration with local organizations (including Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

Indian Health Services consultants developed a curriculum to provide biological, chemical, and nuclear terrorism preparedness training for Indian Health Clinics. Materials are available for viewing or download. These resources are:

  • A self-guided tutorial
  • Interactive tutorials
