California 988 Network Administrative Entity
The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) #23-044 to gather information and solicit input from Interested Parties with regards to the use of an Administrative Entity to strengthen and support the implementation, administration, and sustainability of behavioral health crisis services accessed through California’s 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Administrative Entity is an entity that will serve as a prime contractor to DHCS, responsible for administrative activities to support California’s 988 Network, including subcontracting with 988 crisis centers and vendors, data collection, reporting, project management, federal grant management, and fiscal management.
This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. A response to this RFI is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the State to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. DHCS asks willing Respondents to share nonbinding budgetary pricing information for each identified solution where requested. Pricing is only for planning purposes. Any pricing provided in a response to this RFI will not be considered an offer on the part of a Respondent.

As noted on the PCD home page, it is highly recommended that all vendors wishing to contract with the State of California complete registration for the Cal eProcure/Fi$Cal system as it is the official location for RFP/IFB releases.
