As the Keep Your Community Covered campaign comes to a close, DHCS provided a final update on this past year of Medi-Cal redeterminations. Ambassadors received information on the program’s impact, lessons learned, and the Get and Keep Your Community Covered Resources Hub. Additionally, a fellow ambassador shared their experience with the program. DHCS also gathered feedback through a live poll and encouraged ambassadors to complete a comprehensive survey for additional input.

In this webinar, Coverage Ambassadors received information on Child Health Disability Prevention (CHDP) and their temporary coverage under Presumptive Eligibility. Additionally, DHCS provided updates on the Newborn Gateway, which is a new system that streamlines enrollment for eligible Medi-Cal members by standardizing how infant births are reported.

In this webinar, DHCS updates Coverage Ambassadors on the Get and Keep Your Community Covered Resources Hub. This online resource center provides a wealth of material in 19 different languages. The webinar explores how Ambassadors and community members can access and use these resources to raise awareness in their communities. It also offers tips on customizing templates to better fit local needs.
