Medi-Cal Third Party Liability and Recovery

The Third Party Liability and Recovery Division (TPLRD) is responsible for ensuring that the Medi-Cal program complies with State and Federal laws and regulations relating to the legal liability of third parties for health care services to beneficiaries, and of taking all reasonable measures to ensure that the Medi-Cal program is the payer of last resort.

 

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!

Effective January 1, 2012, both federal and state laws require all TPLRD payments issued to any individual or non-governmental entity to submit a Payee Data Record (STD. 204).

Now Accepting Online Payments

TPLRD is now accepting online payments from your checking or savings account through a secure website. The application uses a step-by-step approach, making payments easier and faster than ever before. Click the secure link below and it will automatically take you to California's Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Website called paycalifornia.com
