The purpose of the DHCS Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) is to provide DHCS with valuable input on ongoing California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) implementation efforts, as well as help DHCS further its efforts to provide high-quality, appropriate care in keeping with the goals of national health care reform. 

SAC members are recognized stakeholders/experts in their fields, including but not limited to beneficiary advocacy organizations and representatives of various Medi-Cal provider groups.​ ​

Provide Public Comment

Members of the public are encouraged to participate in SAC​ meetings. 

Speaking During the Meeting:
  • ​Public comment is accepted during designated times on the agenda.
  • Both in-person and virtual attendees are welcome to share their thoughts.  
  • DHCS will listen carefully to your thoughts, but will not provide an immediate response. 
  • Each speaker is allowed up to one minute to share their comments.
  • All comments will be recorded in the meeting summary.
  • If time runs out, members of the public can share their thoughts via email.
