この前提条件を実行するには、Excel マクロを有効にする必要があります。手順を以下に示します。​​ 

Excel 97-2003 については、以下を参照してください。​​               

The Excel Participation Prerequisite runs with Macros, therefore you need to set your Macro Security to Medium or Low.  Before opening the survey, open Excel and click the “Tools” menu from the top menu bar then select “Macro” and then “Security”. In the dialog box, verify security is set to Medium or Low.  This should enable you to use the survey properly.  If you set security to Medium, you will need to select “Enable Macros” when prompted. ​​

Excel 2007 は、参加の前提条件を互換モードで実行します。参加の前提条件を開いたり閉じたりすると、Excel が互換モードでマクロを読み込むときに顕著な遅延が発生します。 Excelを開くときに読み込んだり、閉じたときにアンロードしたりしている間、Excelのタイトルバーに「応答していません」と表示される場合があります。参加の前提条件を閉じる速度を向上させるには、最初にアンケートを保存してからアンケートを閉じ、Excelを終了します。​​
