Medi-Cal Rx​​  

On May 19, Reinstatement Phase III, Lift 3 will be implemented, lifting the Transition Policy for 22 Standard Therapeutic Classes (STCs) for members age 22 and older. This is the third in a series of lifts to retire, or phase out, the grandfathering of historical prior authorizations (PA) and claims by reinstating NCPDP Reject Code 75 – Prior Authorization Required.​​

2023년 4월 캘리포니아 규제 완화 월간 보고서​​  

On May 22, DHCS will publish California’s submission of the federal “Unwinding Monthly Report” for the eligibility month of April 2023 to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as part of the continuous coverage unwinding federal requirements. The report includes California’s updated estimate of total pending applications received between March 1, 2020, and March 31, 2023, that are still in a pending status as of April 30; total April 2023 annual renewals and renewal outcomes; and total Medi-Cal fair hearings pending more than 90 days as of April 30. The report also includes a description of California’s renewal timeline and policy during the unwinding period. This report will be posted to the DHCS Medi-Cal Enrollment webpage under “DHCS Continuous Coverage Unwinding Data.” Each monthly report will include the same measures, but specific for that month. DHCS will provide reports to CMS on or about the 20th of each month through at least June 2024.​​

치매 케어 인식 - 인지 건강 평가(CHA) 가상 교육​​  

5월 19일부터 치매 케어 어웨어는 어바인 캘리포니아 대학교의 노인 의학 전문가가 이끄는 CHA에서 매월 Zoom 교육(사전 등록 필요) 을 제공합니다. CHA는 인지 검사가 필요할 때마다 고령의 성인 환자를 대상으로 실시하는 치매 선별 검사 방법입니다. 다음 교육은 6월 2일에 열립니다. 일차 의료 제공자와 팀은 매월 첫째, 셋째 금요일에 CHA에 참여하여 일차 의료 제공자와 그 팀이 환자의 치매를 더 잘 발견할 수 있도록 지원하는 방법에 대해 자세히 알아볼 수 있습니다. 무료 평생 의료 교육 및 평생 교육 단위를 이용할 수 있습니다.​​  

부족 및 인디언 보건 프로그램 대표자 가상 회의​​  

On May 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., DHCS will host the quarterly Tribal and Indian Health Program representatives’ virtual meeting (advance registration required). This webinar will include a discussion of DHCS programs and initiatives of interest to tribal partners, and offer a forum to provide feedback on specific aspects of DHCS initiatives that directly affect tribes, Indian Health Programs, and American Indian Medi-Cal members. The next meeting will be held in August in Sacramento. The meeting agenda and other materials will be posted on the Indian Health Program webpage as they become available.​​

6월 23일 오후 1시부터 2시 30분까지 DHCS는 7월 1일 아동 및 청소년 집중관리(POF)의 출범에 앞서 아동 및 청소년을 위한 향상된 치료 관리(ECM)의 비전에 대한 가상 이벤트(사전 등록 필요)를 개최합니다. DHCS 리더는 제공자, 지역사회 기반 조직(CBO), 매니지 케어 플랜(MCP)으로 구성된 패널에 합류하여 다음과 같은 정보를 제공할 것입니다:​​  

• 어린이 및 청소년 POF의 설계 및 운영 지침을 다시 한 번 알려드립니다.​​  
• 제공업체가 아동 및 청소년 POF를 위한 ECM 출시를 준비하는 방법의 예시입니다.​​  
• MCP, 카운티 및 기타 제공업체를 대상으로 ECM 혜택 계약에 대한 지침을 제공합니다.​​

California Awards Millions to Strengthen State’s Opioid Response​​  

On May 19, DHCS awarded more than $12 million in grants to strengthen the state’s opioid response as part of the California’s $1 billion plan to tackle the opioid epidemic. The awards include $7.9 million to 20 DHCS-licensed, residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment facilities throughout the state as part of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Expansion Project, $3.5 million to 23 organizations through the Tribal Urban Indian Defined Best Practice program, and $1.05 million to seven organizations through the California Native MAT Network for Healing and Recovery.​​
