캘리포니아, 나파 밸리 청소년 웰니스 캠퍼스 착공을 기념하다​​ 

매년 1,950개 이상으로 확대되는 행동 건강 서비스.​​ 

새크라멘토 - 7월 7일 2, 2024, 보건복지부(DHCS)와 멘티스는 정신 건강 및 약물 사용 장애 치료가 필요한 위험에 처한 아동과 청소년을 위한 새로운 청소년 웰니스 캠퍼스의 착공을 축하했습니다. DHCS는 행동 건강 치료의 격차를 해소하기 위해 행동 건강 연속체 인프라 프로그램 (BHCIP)을 통해 멘티스에 470만 달러 이상을 지원했습니다. 지역사회 정신 건강 클리닉과 지역사회 건강/청소년 예방 센터는 연간 약 1,950명의 사람들에게 서비스를 제공할 예정입니다.  

최근 승인된 발의안 1 채권으로 2025년과 2026년에는 더 많은 행동 건강 치료 시설에 대한 자금이 지원되고 건설될 예정입니다.​​

This effort, part of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative, is a historic investment that provides grant funding to construct new facilities and expand existing facilities that help children, youth, transition age youth, and pregnant or postpartum individuals and their families with mental health and/or substance use disorders.​​ 

나파 밸리 청소년 웰니스 캠퍼스 프로젝트: 새로운 청소년 웰니스 캠퍼스는 나파 밸리의 어린이 및 청소년 커뮤니티와 그 가족들의 행동, 정신, 정서적 요구를 충족시킬 것입니다. 이 프로젝트는 기존 사립 중학교 캠퍼스 건물을 개조하여 지원 미술 스튜디오, 지원 커뮤니티 공간, 치료실을 통합하는 것입니다. 서비스에는 위험에 처한 아동과 청소년을 위한 건강 예방 활동, 정신 건강 치료, 그룹 치료 및/또는 가족 활동, 개별 치료 세션이 포함됩니다. 프로그램은 영어와 스페인어로 제공되며 누구나 무료로 참여할 수 있습니다. 캠퍼스의 지속적인 돌봄은 유색인종 청소년, 성소수자 청소년, 사법 관련 청소년을 포함한 다양한 청소년 인구를 유치하기 위한 것입니다.​​ 

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT: Through BHCIP, DHCS awards eligible entities funding to construct, acquire, and expand properties and invest in mobile crisis infrastructure to further expand the range of community-based behavioral health treatment options for people with mental health and substance use disorders. BHCIP is addressing historic gaps in the behavioral health care system to meet the growing demand for services and support throughout the lifespan of people in need. The Napa Valley youth wellness campus project received BHCIP Round 4 (Children and Youth) grant funding.​​ 

DHCS was authorized through 2021 legislation to award $2.2 billion in BHCIP competitive grants. In addition, DHCS will distribute roughly $4 billion in BHCIP grants under Proposition 1 bond funds. Behavioral Health Transformation is DHCS’ work to implement Proposition 1. DHCS holds regular public listening sessions. ABOUT BHCIP ROUND 4 (CHILDREN AND YOUTH): BHCIP Round 4 focused on Californians ages 25 and younger, including pregnant and postpartum women and their children and youth ages 16-25, along with their families. The 52 awards totaling $480.5 million allowed for new construction and expansion of multiple outpatient and residential facility types, including children’s crisis residential programs, perinatal residential substance use disorder facilities, community wellness/youth prevention centers, and outpatient treatment for substance use disorders.
