캘리포니아, 리버사이드 행동 건강 웰니스 빌리지 착공을 기념하다​​ 

리버사이드 대학교 헬스 시스템, 리버사이드 카운티의 정신건강 인프라 개선을 위해 8천만 달러의 보조금 수령​​ 

새크라멘토 - 정신 건강 및 약물 사용 장애 치료가 필요한 개인에게 서비스를 제공할 새로운 행동 건강 및 신체 건강 관리 캠퍼스인 웰니스 빌리지의 착공을 축하하기 위해 6월 12일에 보건 서비스국(DHCS)이 리버사이드 대학 보건 시스템에 합류했습니다. DHCS는 행동 건강 치료의 격차를 해소하기 위한 안전한 공간을 구축하기 위해 리버사이드 대학 보건 시스템에 8천만 달러 이상을 지원했습니다.​​ 

The portions of the campus funded through this effort will enable Riverside University Health System to provide critical resources to more than 20,900 community members annually.​​ 

With the recently approved Proposition 1 bonds, in 2025 and 2026, even more behavioral health treatment facilities will be funded and built.​​

웰니스 빌리지(Wellness Village)는 1차 및 전문 의료 서비스, 정신 건강 관리, 약물 남용 장애 치료, 약국 서비스, 위기 대응 서비스 외에도 여성·영유아·아동(WIC) 지원 프로그램 및 취업 준비 교육과 같은 사회 복지 서비스를 제공할 예정입니다. 정신 건강 및 약물 사용 장애 치료 서비스는 성인 및 아동을 대상으로 위기 안정화, 입원 치료, 재활 치료, 외래 진료, 그리고 숙취 회복 센터를 포함한 연속적인 치료 서비스를 제공할 것입니다.​​

Our vision is to foster a place where individuals can find the care they need, all in one location, surrounded by a community that supports their journey to wellness.”​​ 

아동 및 청소년 행동 건강 이니셔티브의 일환인 이 노력은 정신 건강 및/또는 약물 사용 장애가 있는 아동, 청소년, 전환기 청소년, 임신 또는 산후 개인과 그 가족을 돕는 새로운 시설을 건설하고 기존 시설을 확장하는 데 보조금을 제공하는 역사적인 투자입니다.​​ 

RIVERSIDE UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYSTEM PROJECT: The Riverside University Health System Wellness Village will embody a full-service behavioral health and physical health care campus that serves as a safe, monitored, and therapeutic community and living space while simultaneously delivering high-quality, person-first treatment for behavioral and physical health. Individuals and their families will be able to move through the campus’ continuum of care, from intensive oversight and treatment activities to decreased therapeutic contact, enabling them to prepare for a self-sustained recovery grounded in their community.​​ 

This project is the first of its kind and hosts a multitude of other wraparound and onsite community services. In addition to grant-funded services, the campus will include recovery residences, transitional living, a primary care health clinic, a pet hotel, and a grocery store for residents. With a focus on social drivers of health, the Wellness Village is designed to deliver care and outreach that supports people in their physical, behavioral, and spiritual growth. The Wellness Village was funded through the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) Round 3: Launch Ready and Round 4: Children and Youth.​​ 

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT: Through BHCIP, DHCS awards eligible entities funding to construct, acquire, and expand properties and invest in mobile crisis infrastructure to further expand the range of community-based behavioral health treatment options for people with mental health and substance use disorders. BHCIP addresses historic gaps in the behavioral health care system to meet the growing demand for services and supports throughout the lifespan of people in need.​​ 

DHCS was authorized through 2021 legislation to award $2.2 billion in BHCIP competitive grants. In addition, DHCS will distribute roughly $4 billion in BHCIP grants under Proposition 1 bond funds. Proposition 1 includes the Behavioral Health Services Act and Behavioral Health Bond Act of 2024; more information about Proposition 1 can be found at mentalhealth.ca.gov. Behavioral Health Transformation is DHCS’ work to implement Proposition 1. DHCS holds monthly public listening sessions. ABOUT BHCIP ROUND 3: LAUNCH READY:​​ BHCIP 3차 사업은 주 전역에 걸쳐 행동 건강 인프라를 확보하고 확충하기 위한 계획 수립 준비 활동을 지원했습니다. 총 5억 1,850만 달러 규모의 45개 시설을 통해 부동산 자산의 신축, 매입 및 개보수를 진행함으로써 행동 건강 치료 및 서비스 자원의 연속성을 확대할 수 있게 되었습니다. BHCIP 지원자들은 메디칼(Medi-Cal) 가입자에게 서비스를 제공하는 기관 내에서 행동 건강 치료 및 서비스의 연속성을 바탕으로 한 사업 확장을 입증해야 했으며, 사업 실행 준비를 완료하기 위한 유효한 계획 절차를 갖추어야 했습니다.​​ 

BHCIP 4라운드 정보: 어린이와 청소년:​​ BHCIP Round 4 focused on Californians ages 25 and younger, including pregnant and postpartum women and their children and youth ages 16-25, along with their families. The 52 awards totaling $480.5 million allowed for new construction and expansion of multiple outpatient and residential facility types, including children’s crisis residential programs, perinatal residential substance use disorder facilities, community wellness/youth prevention centers, and outpatient treatment for substance use disorders.​​
