The purpose of this section is to bring you up to date on the development of the Behavioral Health Service Plan (Service Plan). Per agreement between the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), DHCS submitted the Service Plan Outline to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) on October 1, 2012, and update on April 1, 2013 to satisfy the due dates listed in paragraph 23.d of the Bridge to Reform 1115 Demonstration Special Terms and Conditions (STCs) and will submit a revised Services Plan by October 1, 2013. DHCS greatly appreciates the flexibility that CMS has provided in allowing the submission of the Plan Outline on October 1, 2012, and now an agreement to submit the final Plan on or before October 1, 2013.​​ 

확정된 서비스 계획은 Medi-Cal 확대 대상자에게 서비스를 제공하기 위한 캘리포니아의 권장 사항을 설명하고 이 대상자의 정신 건강 및 약물 사용 장애 요구를 충족하기 위한 주정부의 준비 상태를 보여줄 것입니다.​​ 

10월로 변경된 날짜에 대해 CMS와 소통하면서 DHCS는 이해관계자들과 추가로 협의하고 옵션을 분석하며 서비스 계획의 개발 및 확정에 중요한 결정을 내리는 데 몇 달이 걸릴 것이라고 밝혔습니다.​​ 

계획 초안이 배포되면 DHCS는 이해관계자의 의견을 수렴하고 문서를 완성하는 과정에서 아래 이메일 주소로 의견이나 제안을 보내주시기 바랍니다.​​
