주 의회 법안(AB) 97(2011년 법령 제3장)에 따라 보건의료 서비스국(DHCS)은 약국을 포함한 Medi-Cal 프로그램의 대부분의 서비스 범주에 대해 최대 10%의 지불금 인하를 시행해야 합니다. DHCS는 6월 1, 2011일부터 시행되는 약국 지불금 10% 인하에 대한 연방 정부의 승인을 받았습니다.​​ 

On January 30, 2014, DHCS received notification that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approved State Plan Amendment(SPA) 12-014.  This SPA approves DHCS’ criteria and requirements for exempting specific drug products and/or categories of drugs, or specific pharmacy providers from the AB 97 related ten percent payment reductions and provides authority to implement the exemptions accordingly.  The CMS approval letter for this SPA as well as information on all other DHCS SPAs is posted on the website.​​
