Full Integration Plans Workgroup
Currently, Medi-Cal beneficiaries must navigate multiple complex delivery systems in order to meet all of their health care needs. They may receive physical health care and treatment for mild-to-moderate mental health conditions from Medi-Cal managed care health plans; receive care for severe mental illness and substance use disorders from county delivery systems; and dental care from a separate fee-for-service or managed care delivery system. Under the Full Integration Plan proposal, DHCS would test the effectiveness of full integration of physical health, behavioral health, and oral health under one contracted managed care entity. Due to the complexity of the policy considerations around this concept, DHCS will conduct extensive stakeholder engagement around eligibility criteria for entities, administrative requirements across delivery systems, provider network requirements, quality, and reporting requirements.
All workgroup meetings will be held in Sacramento at 1700 K Street in the First Floor Conference Room. Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign in at the front desk.
The public is welcome to attend all meetings by phone or in-person. A public call-in option will be active for all workgroup meetings.
Note: In-person space is limited and will be allocated on a first come-first serve basis. Members of the public who call in will be placed in listen-only mode. If you wish to participate by phone, please register using the links below (the webinar will be used for telephonic purposes only). After registration, you will receive an email confirmation with your unique dial-in and access code. California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) workgroups will not be recorded.
