The Protect Access to Health Care Act Stakeholder Advisory Committee is responsible for advising DHCS on developing and implementing components of the Protect Access to Health Care Act of 2024 (Proposition 35). 

Details about membership, committee terms, powers and duties, and more are detailed in Article 8 of Proposition 35 (WIC 14199.129 - 14199.133). ​

Provide Public Comment​                        ​  

Members of the public are encouraged to participate in PAHCA meetings. 

Speaking During the Meeting:
  • ​Public comment is accepted during designated times on the agenda.
  • Both in-person and virtual attendees are welcome to share their thoughts.  
  • DHCS will listen carefully to your thoughts, but will not provide an immediate response. 
  • Each speaker is allowed up to one minute to share their comments.
  • All comments will be recorded in the meeting summary.
  • If time runs out, members of the public can share their thoughts via email.
