The State RMTS workgroup, which is comprised of DHCS Staff and LEC, LGA and LEA representatives, is responsible for revising the California School-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (SMAA) statewide claiming plan.  On October 1, 2013, the group continued to discuss the RMTS method that will best serve California, including issues and concerns brought up by stakeholders.  On October 16th, 2013, DHCS presented a draft copy of the revised statewide implementation plan to the workgroup.  This served as a basis for discussion on the technical aspects of the plan.  Workgroup participants and DHCS spent the day reviewing and discussing the draft plan.  Based on workgroup comments, DHCS finalized and submitted a draft statewide implementation plan to CMS on October 21, 2013.  DHCS plans to upload the draft plan onto this website by Friday, October 25th.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact DHCS at SMAA@dhcs.ca.gov
