DHCS Medi-Cal Dental Language Access Workgroup
Return to Medi-Cal Dental Stakeholders Homepage
State and Federal law requires the State of California Department of Health Care Services to provide services in languages other than English for people who have limited English proficiency. The purpose of the Medi-Cal Dental Language Access Workgroup is for stakeholders to provide input on how DHCS can best improve existing language assistance and address potential barriers to access dental care services within the California Medi-Cal Dental program.
Language Access Workgroup members are advocates from the consumer protection community and representatives of language access organizations who are recognized experts in their fields. If you would like to be added as a participant, please submit your request to dental@dhcs.ca.gov.
