The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will host a stakeholder session on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. PST in person at the DHCS Auditorium, 1500 Capitol Avenue, and concurrently by webinar. The session will be focused on federal-state shared savings, a key concept of the section 1115 Waiver Renewal first proposed in a July 2014 concept paper.
DHCS’ federal-state shared savings initiative seeks to recognize the savings to the federal government that California’s waiver program generates and provide California with a share of that savings in order to reinvest it in the Medi-Cal program and drive delivery system transformation that results in optimal health outcomes for Medi-Cal members.
The session will allow for public comment via in-person participation or through a web-based portal. The meeting agenda and materials will be posted on the
