Behavioral Health Services Act

The California Behavioral Health Planning Council (CBHPC) established the Proposition 1 Ad-Hoc Committee to support its responsibilities under the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA). This ad-hoc draws on the expertise of CBHPC Members and individuals with lived experience of mental health and substance use disorders to review progress, monitor implementation, and develop recommendations on BHSA policies and regulations. The Proposition 1 Ad-Hoc Committee developed recommendations in conjunction with the Council’s Housing and Homelessness Committee (HHC) for the Behavioral Health Infrastructure Bond Act (BHIBA).
