がんプログラム部門
Department of Health Care Services(DHCS)のBenefits Division(BD)内の4つの支部のうちの1つは、 Every Woman Counts(EWC)プログラムと 前立腺がん治療プログラム(PCTP)の2つの専門プログラムを収容するCancer Programs Branchです。
EWCプログラム
The EWC Program provides free breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services to California’s underserved populations. The mission of the EWC Program is to mitigate the devastating medical, emotional and financial effects of breast and cervical cancer and eliminate health disparities for medically underserved, low-income individuals.

PCTPの
PCTPはDHCS/BDが監督し、カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校(UCLA)との契約を通じて管理されています。PCTPは、 IMPACT:私は前立腺がんのカリフォルニア州民のためのA治療、C治療、およびT治療を改善します。 PCTPは、コミュニティプロバイダーや地元の保健部門と提携して、健康保険がほとんどまたはまったくない個人に前立腺がん治療を提供する州全体のプログラムです。 PCTPは、18歳以上のカリフォルニア州の低所得者(連邦貧困レベルの200%以下)、無保険者、および無保険者向けの質の高い前立腺がん治療を開発、拡大、保証するものです。
