미셸 바스 DHCS 이사의 연말 메시지​​ 

Thank you for helping us achieve another banner year at DHCS. We’re implementing a multi-year transformation of Medi-Cal to ensure Californians get the care they need. Every day, Californians are gaining access to new and improved services—or getting covered for the first time. We’re addressing some of the most pressing issues of our time, including homelessness and youth mental health needs. We’re building and expanding our programs to treat the whole person—both their physical and behavioral health—and addressing health-related social needs by offering Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports, such as transitions to stable housing and/or providing access to medically tailored meals.​​ 

Together, these changes represent a significant step forward in delivering a more coordinated, person-centered, and equitable health care system that works for everyone, regardless of where they live or their health needs. Although these changes will take time to fully implement, we should feel tremendously proud of what we’re doing to transform people’s lives. Your work brings us closer to realizing our purpose of a healthy California for all.​​

프로그램 업데이트​​ 

형평성 및 실무 혁신(EPT) 학습 협업​​ 

DHCS는 인구 건강 학습 센터와 새로운 파트너십을 체결하여 EPT 학습 협업을 운영합니다. EPT 제공자 직접 지불 프로그램은 건강 형평성, 인구 건강, 업스트림 케어 모델에 대한 투자에 중점을 둔 일차 진료 관행 혁신 이니셔티브에 6억 5천만 달러를 일회성으로 투자하는 프로그램입니다. DHCS는 곧 모범 사례 목록을 공개할 예정입니다.​​  

인구 건강 학습 센터는 EPT 제공자 직접 지불 프로그램의 프로그램 사무소 역할을 수행하며 DHCS, 참여 진료소 및 Medi-Cal 매니지 케어 플랜(MCP)과 긴밀히 협력합니다. 프로그램의 모든 진료소는 인구 건강 학습 센터 활동에 참여해야 합니다.​​ 

인구 건강 학습 센터는 또한 의료기관을 위한 기술 지원(TA) 전략을 공동 설계하고, 프로그램 목표 달성에 있어 의료기관의 진행 상황을 모니터링하며, 증거 기반 모델의 도입을 지원하는 역할을 담당할 것입니다. 기술 지원 전략에는 참여 의료기관을 위한 효과적이고 영향력 있는 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 주 및 전국 각지의 기술 전문가와 협력하는 것이 포함될 것입니다. 인구 건강 학습 센터는 유사한 노력을 기울이는 연방 공인 보건 센터를 지원하는 데 중점을 둔 인구 건강 관리 이니셔티브를 통해 설계 및 검증된 도구와 리소스를 활용할 것입니다.​​

접근성 제공 및 보건 혁신(PATH) 역량 및 인프라 전환, 확장 및 개발(CITED) 3라운드 신청서​​ 

12월 18일, DHCS는 예비 신청자가 신청서를 작성하는 데 필요한 리소스와 정보를 준비하는 데 도움을 주기 위해 PATH CITED 3라운드 신청 개요를 발표했습니다. 애플리케이션 개요는 계획 도구로 사용하기 위한 것이며 애플리케이션을 '미리 보기'하기 위한 것입니다. 정식 신청이 아닙니다. 신청자는 여전히 PATH CITED 웹사이트의 신청 링크를 사용하여 CITED 3라운드 펀딩을 신청해야 합니다.​​ 

2024년 1월 Medi-Cal MCP 전환​​ 

As part of Medi-Cal transformation, some MCPs are changing on January 1, and approximately 1.2 million members will have new health plan options and/or will need to transition to new MCPs. Changing MCPs will not affect Medi-Cal member coverage or benefits. Members transitioning to a new MCP received notices about the transition. DHCS developed several resources to support members, providers, and other stakeholders with the transition, including the Managed Care Plan Transition Member webpage with a county “lookup” tool, links to member notices sent by Medi-Cal about MCP changes, frequently asked questions, and a Contact Us page for members to learn more about health plans and provider choices. There are also transition resources for providers and MCPs and stakeholders. More information about the transition is available in the 2024 Managed Care Plan Transition Policy Guide and Medi-Cal Eligibility Division Information Letter Number I 23-54.​​
