11월 8일, DHCS는 행동 건강 혁신 정책 매뉴얼 모듈 1에 대한 공개 의견 수렴 기간을 시작했으며 12월까지 의견을 접수합니다 2, 2024. 2025년 초에 발표될 예정인 최종 정책 매뉴얼은 캘리포니아 주 전역의 정신 건강 및 약물 사용 장애 서비스를 개선하고 모든 캘리포니아 주민의 접근성과 지원을 강화하기 위한 캘리포니아의 이니셔티브인 행동 건강 전환을 구현하는 카운티를 안내할 것입니다.
The Policy Manual will be released in parts, called “modules,” to support timely access to materials and the ability to adapt the Policy Manual based on feedback. Each module will focus on specific aspects of the overall policy. This first module focuses on the County Integrated Plan, Funding Allowances and Transfer Requests, and Housing Interventions.
The first draft module of the Policy Manual is being released on a software solution, paving the way for future modules. As a result, all policies related to Behavioral Health Transformation will be version-controlled, maintained online, and publicly available, supporting easy navigation, review, and feedback.

새로운 알타데나 시설, 로스앤젤레스 카운티에 필수적인 행동 건강 관리 서비스 제공
11월 4일, DHCS와 로스앤젤레스 알코올 센터 & 약물 남용(LA CADA)은 로스앤젤레스 카운티의 알타데나 프로젝트에서 약물 사용 장애 및 동반되는 정신 건강 요구를 치료하기 위해 약물 사용 장애 주거 치료 서비스를 확대했습니다. 이 시설의 주요 초점은 LGBTQIA2S+(레즈비언, 게이, 양성애자, 트랜스젠더 및/또는 성전환자, 퀴어 및/또는 의문, 간성, 무성애자, 두 가지 정신) 개인에게 서비스를 제공하는 것이며, 특히 저소득층, 노숙 경험 또는 위험, 사법 시스템 참여가 있는 트랜스젠더 및 성 비순응자를 위한 포괄적이고 긍정적인 치료를 제공하는 데 중점을 두고 있습니다. 이 프로젝트는 18개의 주거 치료 병상을 추가하고 매년 72명의 성인에게 필수적인 지원을 제공할 것입니다.
DHCS awarded L.A. CADA Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) funds as part of California’s ongoing commitment to expand behavioral health services for all Californians. With the passage of Proposition 1, even more behavioral health treatment facilities will be funded and built in 2025 and 2026.

원격 의료: 대화형 사용률 대시보드
11월 8일, 메디칼 프로그램에 따른 다양한 원격 의료 방식의 활용도를 추적하고 더 잘 이해하기 위한 지속적인 이니셔티브의 일환으로 DHCS는 향후 정책 개발에 정보를 제공하는 데 사용할 수 있는 데이터 중심 접근 방식을 사용하여 원격 의료 정책을 평가하기 위한 포괄적인 기반을 제공하는 것을 목표로 하는 대중 대상 대화형 원격 의료 데이터 대시보드의 2단계에 착수했습니다. 2단계에는 원격 의료 방식을 통해 제공되는 의료 서비스와 관련된 8가지 활용도 데이터 측정 세트가 포함됩니다. 특히 2단계에서는 대시보드를 확장하여 전문 정신 건강 서비스, 약물 메디칼 조직 전달 시스템 및 치과 서비스에 초점을 맞춘 추가 데이터 세트를 포함하도록 합니다. Medi-Cal Rx
On October 31, an alert, 90-Day Countdown: Pediatric Integration of Members 21 Years of Age and Younger, was sent to inform pharmacy providers and prescribers that Medi-Cal Rx will reinstate claim edits and prior authorization (PA) requirements for members 21 years of age and younger on January 31, 2025. DHCS has initiated meetings with associations and stakeholder groups to introduce the Medi-Cal Rx initiative referred to as the Pediatric Utilization Management (UM) Integration Program. As part of this effort, Medi-Cal Rx will implement the California Children’s Services (CCS) Panel Authority policy in which CCS panel providers will have prescribing authority for a list of medications and supplies under a set of UM policies selected for this authority.

On November 14, from 11 to 11:45 a.m. PST, DHCS will virtually host the Coverage Ambassador webinar (advance registration required). DHCS will discuss Medi-Cal Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program benefits and dyadic services so Coverage Ambassadors can strengthen their engagement with Medi-Cal members, equip them to share information about benefits and services, and guide them on how to access resources. Spanish interpretation will be provided.

On November 14, from 12 to 2 p.m. PST, DHCS will virtually host the CalAIM Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) and Duals Integration Workgroup meeting (advance registration required). The workgroup is a stakeholder collaboration hub for CalAIM MLTSS and integrated care for dual eligible members. It allows stakeholders to provide feedback and share information about policy, operations, and strategy for upcoming changes to Medi-Cal and Medicare.

DHCS 피해 감소 서밋
Registration is currently open for the DHCS Harm Reduction Summit in San Mateo County on November 19. Through these convenings, DHCS aims to collaborate with communities across the state to promote harm reduction within California’s substance use disorder treatment system and create low-barrier, patient-centered care. DHCS encourages substance use disorder treatment providers and staff (including social workers, peers, front desk staff, case managers, nurses, physicians, and all staff in substance use disorder treatment settings) to attend and learn about best practices for incorporating the tenets of harm reduction into substance use disorder treatment. Additional summits will be held in Fresno County, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County in winter 2025. Register on the event website.
