The Office of Communications (OC) is responsible for overall DHCS communications and outreach activities designed to engage the general public, media, intergovernmental organizations, and public advocacy groups, as well as a wide variety of health care, community, business, academic, legislative, and other groups interested in the Department’s agenda.​​ 

OC ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਟੀਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਰਣਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰਾਂ, ਜਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਚੈਨਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।​​
