Ibinibigay ng Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) ang update na ito ng mga makabuluhang development patungkol sa mga programa ng DHCS, pati na rin ang gabay na nauugnay sa COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE).

Pagbibigay ng Access and Transforming Health (PATH) Initiative Guidance at Application Released
Noong Agosto 1, inilunsad ng DHCS ang isang online na aplikasyon para sa mga kwalipikadong entidad upang makatanggap ng pondo mula sa inisyatibo ng Capacity, Infrastructure, Transition, Expansion, and Development (CITED). Ang mga aplikasyon para sa unang round ng pagpopondo ay dapat isumite sa pamamagitan ng online portal nang hindi lalampas sa Setyembre 30, kasama ang mga pagsusuri at pag-apruba ng aplikasyon, mga pinal na kontrata, at mga pamamahagi ng pondo na susunod. Sa Disyembre, aabisuhan ang mga aplikante tungkol sa kanilang pag-apruba/pagtanggi, at ipapamahagi ang mga pondo.
CITED is part of the PATH initiative that will provide funding to enable the transition, expansion, and development of capacity and infrastructure to support the delivery of Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports services under California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM). The following will be eligible to apply for funding:
- County, lungsod, at iba pang ahensya ng lokal na pamahalaan

- Medi-Cal Tribal at Designees ng Indian Health Programs

Pagpili ng Kontratista ng PATH Third-Party Administrator (TPA).
DHCS announced that Public Consulting Group (PCG) has been selected as the PATH TPA. PCG brings years of Medicaid transformation experience and has supported several ambitious reform efforts through waiver policy development and program operations support. PCG has also assisted numerous states in the administration of hundreds of millions of dollars in grant funds for Medicaid and other social services programs.
As the TPA, PCG will administer four initiatives that are authorized under the state’s 1115 waiver, including the:
- Marketplace ng Tulong Teknikal
- Collaborative Planning and Implementation Program
- CITED na Programa
- Pagpaplano at Pagbuo ng Kapasidad na Kasangkot sa Katarungan

Mga Oras ng Opisina ng CalAIM: ECM at Community Supports Program Data Exchange
On August 11 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., DHCS will virtually host an “Office Hours” discussion of CalAIM ECM and Community Supports Program Data Exchange.
This event is part of a new series focused on answering implementation questions from the field. Topics will include data flows between Medi-Cal managed care plans (MCP) and ECM and Community Supports providers, MCP reporting requirements to DHCS, and DHCS expectations and supports for implementing data and reporting requirements.
Advance registration for CalAIM Office Hours webinar is required. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance to CalAIMECMILOS@dhcs.ca.gov by August 8. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions during the session.
Tribal at Indian Health Programa Representatives Meeting
Sa Agosto 12, mula 9:30 ng umaga hanggang 12:30 ng tanghali, magho-host ang DHCS ng isang virtual na pagpupulong para sa mga kinatawan ng Tribes at Indian Health Program. Provider Application at Validation for Enrollment (PAVE) Portal Training Sessions para sa Dental Provider
Sa Agosto 24 mula 11 am hanggang 12 pm, magho-host ang DHCS ng isang oras na pagpapakilala sa PAVE para sa mga tagapagbigay ng ngipin. Simula sa Oktubre 31, ipapatupad ng DHCS ang portal ng PAVE para sa mga provider ng ngipin, na magbibigay ng bagong mode para sa pagsusumite ng mga aplikasyon sa pagpapatala ng dental provider at kinakailangang dokumentasyon sa DHCS. Ito ay nagpapahintulot sa mga aplikante na gamitin ang Medi-Cal Provider e-Form Application dahil ang DHCS ay hindi na tatanggap ng mga papel na aplikasyon sa sandaling ipatupad ang PAVE.
Additionally, on October 12, DHCS will provide an overview of PAVE’s key features to dental providers, and a more in-depth training session will be scheduled for November, following the implementation of PAVE.
