Naglunsad ang DHCS ng Bagong Online na Karanasan para sa mga Miyembro at Aplikante ng Medi-Cal

DHCS launched a new online experience for Medi-Cal members and potential applicants at my.medi-cal.ca.gov. These new pages are the main entry point for Californians who come to DHCS.ca.gov to learn about Medi-Cal benefits, check if they qualify, and take the next step to apply for or use their coverage. The site, designed specifically for Medi-Cal members and potential members and informed by the Medi-Cal Member Advisory Committee, is:

  • Mobile-first – ginawa para sa mga telepono, kung saan ina-access ng karamihan ng mga user ang web.
  • Plain-language – nakasulat sa antas ng pagbasa sa ikaanim na baitang upang matiyak ang kalinawan.
  • Multilingual – in 19 Medi-Cal languages to support California’s diverse communities.
  • Naa-access – ganap na magagamit ng mga taong may mga kapansanan at mga teknolohiyang pantulong.
  • Streamlined – nakatutok lamang sa mga pangangailangan ng miyembro, nang walang labis na kalat.

This new online experience is just the beginning and is part of a broader Web Transformation Project to make DHCS.ca.gov more human-centered, inclusive, and effective. We invite you to explore the site and share it with your networks. Together, we can help more Californians get the information and care they need.

Applications must be submitted by September 2.
  • Chief, Fiscal Forecasting Division. The Chief plays a key leadership role in the development and administration of DHCS’ budget by overseeing the state’s assumptions, estimates, and funding for the Medi-Cal and other family health programs. The Chief also serves as an advisor regarding the development and implementation of budgets, financial activities, and policies. Applications must be submitted by September 5.

Cal-MAP Webinar para sa Mga Provider ng Medi-Cal

On September 4, from 12 to 1 p.m. PDT, DHCS’ ACEs Aware initiative will hold a webinar about the California Child and Adolescent Mental Health Access Portal (Cal-MAP). The webinar will provide an overview of Cal-MAP’s services, including consultation on screening, diagnosis, and treatment from child psychiatrists, and resource and referral guidance from licensed social workers. Cal-MAP is a no-cost consultation program that supports primary care and school-based providers in delivering timely, high-quality mental health care to youth ages 0–25. Cal-MAP is part of the CalHOPE pediatric access initiative and is designed to expand access to behavioral health services, particularly in California’s rural and underserved communities. Through Cal-MAP, Medi-Cal providers who screen for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress can be connected with child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers for real-time support.
