Nagsagawa ang DHCS ng pilot ng Recovery Incentives Program mula Marso 2023 hanggang Marso 2024. Ang mga county ng DMC-ODS na hindi orihinal na kasama sa programa ay karapat-dapat na ngayong mag-opt-in upang mag-alok ng mga serbisyo ng contingency management (CM) bilang bahagi ng Recovery Incentives Program.

DMC-ODS counties may elect to opt in to the Recovery Incentives Program and provide CM services at any time through the duration of the CalAIM 1115 demonstration period (ending December 31, 2026). DMC-ODS counties are required to complete and submit to DHCS an Implementation Plan (IP). The Recovery Incentives Program Implementation Plan template shall be completed and submitted along with the required supporting documents stated in the IP to DHCS for approval at RecoveryIncentives@dhcs.ca.gov.
