DHCS has established Centers of Excellence (COEs) to provide training, technical assistance, and fidelity monitoring support to county behavioral health delivery systems and behavioral health practitioners in implementing evidence-based practices (EBPs) under BH-CONNECT and the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA).
DHCS is partnering with Health Management Associates, Inc (HMA) as the COE Administrative Entity to oversee, coordinate, and streamline activities conducted by the following COEs:
- The Regents of the University of California, Los Angeles – Public Mental Health Partnership (UCLA PMHP) to support ACT and FACT
- The Regents of the University of California, Davis – EPI-CAL (UC Davis – EPI-CAL) to support CSC
- IPS Supported Employment Center to support IPS Supported Employment.
- Clubhouse International to support Clubhouse Services
- MST Services to support MST
- FFT, LLC to support FFT
- PCIT International to support PCIT
- Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice (RCFFP), a program within the Division of Continuing and Professional Education at the University of California, Davis, to support HFW
