Hearing Aid Benefits and Dyadic Services

In this webinar, DHCS discussed the Medi-Cal Dyadic Services, Hearing Aid Benefits, and the Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program (HACCP). Additionally, ambassadors shared their feedback and suggestions for the future of the Coverage Ambassadors Program. 

ECM Updates and Behavioral Health Apps 

September 20​24 

In this webinar, DHCS provided updates on Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Referral Standards and Presumptive Authorization. Coverage Ambassadors also heard from the Brightline and Kooth teams about the behavioral health apps, BrightLife Kids and Soluna, which are available free of charge to Californians ages 0-25.

Unwinding: Year of Med​i-Cal Redeterminations 

July 20​24 

As the Keep Your Community Covered campaign ended, DHCS provided a final update on the past year of Medi-Cal redeterminations. Coverage Ambassadors received information on the program's impact, lessons learned, and the Get and Keep Your Community Covered Resources Hub. Additionally, a fellow Coverage Ambassador shared their experience with the program. DHCS also gathered feedback through a live poll and encouraged Coverage Ambassadors to complete a comprehensive survey to provide additional input.

Keep Yo​ur Community Covered: Resources Update

In this webinar, DHCS updates Coverage Ambassadors on the Get and Keep Your Community Covered Resources Hub. This online resource center provides a wealth of material in 19 different languages. The webinar explores how Coverage​ Ambassadors and community members can access and use these resources to raise awareness in their communities. It also offers tips on customizing templates to better fit local needs.
