The Medi-Cal 2020 Waiver’s Special Terms and Conditions require the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to provide an annual report on DTI to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The annual report includes analyses of data and quality measures for the applicable Program Year (PY), which is also the calendar year. A preliminary annual report is due to CMS only for internal review six months following the end of the applicable PY. An updated annual report is due to CMS and published publicly 12 months following the end of the applicable PY.​​
