Products Available through the NDP
4mg Nasal Naloxone
The NDP currently distributes generic 4mg naloxone nasal spray in partnership with the CalRX Naloxone Access Initiative. Naloxone available through the NDP is supplied by two manufacturers: Amneal Pharmaceuticals and Padagis LLC. The shelf life for both products is approximately two years. If approved for free naloxone through the NDP, your approval letter will indicate which product you are receiving.
If you would like to receive a free training kit with your naloxone order, please indicate this when you complete the NDP application. Naloxone Training Kits

Training kits are available to add to your nasal naloxone order and cannot be ordered independently. 0.4mg/ml Intramuscular Naloxone
The NDP currently distributes 0.4mg/ml intramuscular naloxone through a partnership with the Remedy Alliance. The NDP’s intramuscular naloxone has a shelf life of approximately two years. Intramuscular naloxone is most often ordered by harm reduction organizations or other entities who serve people who use drugs. Fentanyl Test Strips
Fentanyl test strips are small strips of paper that can detect the presence of fentanyl in different drugs (such as cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin) and drug forms (pills, powder, and injectables). The NDP currently provides all-in-one fentanyl test kits from DoesTest. These all-in-one kits streamline the process of testing a drug for the presence of fentanyl by packaging together a measuring scoop, the fentanyl test strip, a water pouch, and test instructions. Fentanyl test kits have a shelf life of about one year, assuming optimal storage conditions. Keep the test kits out of light, in cold storage and do not leave the bottles un-capped any longer than necessary.
