Department of Health Care Services (DHCS))에서는 2023년 1월 1일에 둘라 서비스를 보험 적용 혜택으로 추가했습니다. Doula 서비스는 유료 서비스 및 관리형 케어 플랜(MCP)을 통해 이용할 수 있습니다. 서비스에는 임신 기간과 산후 1년 동안 개인과 가족을 위한 개인 지원이 포함됩니다. 여기에는 임신, 분만, 출산 및 산후 기간 동안 제공되는 정서적, 신체적 지원은 물론 유산 및 낙태에 대한 지원과 그 이후에도 포함됩니다.

상원 법안 65 Doula 이해관계자 작업 그룹
Senate Bill 65 (Skinner, Chapter 449, Statutes of 2021) required DHCS to establish a Doula Implementation Stakeholder Workgroup and publish a report by July 1, 2025. The Doula Benefit Implementation Report is now available and includes quantitative and qualitative data on doula service utilization and recommendations on outreach efforts and reducing barriers to services. We’re excited to highlight a new Day with a Doula feature from the DHCS Office of Communications.
