As required by the CalAIM 1115 Demonstration’s Special Terms and Conditions, the State must submit evaluation reports to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to determine and analyze the impacts of several demonstration programs over the course of the demonstration period. On June 27, 2022, DHCS submitted the Draft Evaluation Design for Providing Access and Transforming Health (PATH) Initiative, Global Payment Program (GPP), and Dually Eligible Beneficiary Satisfaction in the Medi-Cal Matching Process.
On December 5, 2022, DHCS received CMS comments on the Draft Evaluation Design. The due date for the PATH/GPP/Duals Evaluation Design has been formally extended by CMS to January 25, 2024.
Noong Pebrero 7, 2024, nagsumite ang DHCS ng isang binagong Draft Evaluation Design at liham na naglalaman ng mga Tugon sa mga Tanong ng CMS noong Disyembre 5, 2022 para sa PATH/GPP/Duals at sa Reentry Demonstration.
Noong Agosto 4, 2025, isinumite ng DHCS ang binagong Disenyo ng Ebalwasyon para sa mga Suporta sa Komunidad.
Noong Pebrero 28, 2025, nagsumite ang DHCS ng isang binagong Disenyo ng Ebalwasyon para sa PATH, GPP, Duals, Reentry, at Draft para sa Demonstration ng Managed Care Plans, kasama ang mga Tugon ng DHCS at Evaluation Team sa mga Komento ng CMS noong Hunyo 5, 2024 .
Noong Nobyembre 7, 2025, natanggap ng DHCS ang pag-apruba ng CMS sa Disenyo ng Ebalwasyon para sa mga demonstrasyon ng CS, PATH, GPP, Duals, Reentry, at Managed Care Plans.
Noong Disyembre 29, 2025, isinumite ng DHCS ang sumusunod na draft na dokumento ng CalAIM Interim Evaluation Report sa CMS:
