Inireresetang Gamot ng Medicare
Noong 2003, nilagdaan ng Kongreso bilang batas ang Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act. Kasama sa batas na ito ang benepisyo ng inireresetang gamot na tinatawag na Medicare Part D. Ginagawang available ng bagong batas na ito ang saklaw ng inireresetang gamot sa lahat ng benepisyaryo ng Medicare simula Enero 1, 2006.
Kung naka-enroll ka sa Medi-Cal at mayroon ding Medicare, papalitan ng bagong benepisyo ng Medicare sa inireresetang gamot ang karamihan sa mga de-resetang gamot ng Medi-Cal na kasalukuyan mong natatanggap simula Enero 1, 2006.
