Multipurpose Senior Services Program
There are currently 41 local agencies statewide under contract with the California Department of Aging, provide social and health care management for frail elderly clients who are certifiable for placement in a nursing facility but who wish to remain in the community. The goal of the MSSP is to arrange for and monitor the use of community services to prevent or delay premature institutional placement of these frail clients. Clients eligible for the program must be 65 years of age or older, live within an MSSP site service area, be able to be served within MSSP’s cost limitations, be appropriate for care management services, be currently eligible for Medi-Cal, and be certified or certifiable for placement in a nursing facility. Services provided by MSSP include: adult-day care / support center, housing assistance, chore and personal care assistance, protective supervision, care management, respite, transportation, meal services, social services, communication services.
Thông báo phê duyệt miễn trừ MSSP
Sở Dịch vụ Chăm sóc Sức khỏe (DHCS) và Sở Người cao tuổi California vui mừng thông báo về việc phê duyệt Chương trình Dịch vụ Đa năng dành cho Người cao tuổi 1915(c), Miễn trừ Dịch vụ tại Nhà và Cộng đồng, Số Kiểm soát 0141.05.00. Vào thứ sáu, ngày 19 tháng 12, 2014, DHCS đã nhận được thông báo chính thức từ Trung tâm Dịch vụ Medicare & Medicaid rằng Miễn trừ MSSP đã được chấp thuận cho giai đoạn từ tháng 7, 1, 2014 đến tháng 6, 30, 2019. MSSP sẽ tiếp tục cung cấp các dịch vụ quản lý chăm sóc sức khỏe và xã hội cũng như các dịch vụ miễn trừ được mua cho người lớn tuổi yếu ớt như một giải pháp thay thế tiết kiệm chi phí cho việc đưa vào viện dưỡng lão.
