On November 17, 2022, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) held a public hearing via a Microsoft Teams webinar to discuss the regulatory provider bulletin implementing the requirements and procedures for the enrollment of Medi-Cal doula providers. Effective January 1, 2023, doula providers requesting enrollment in the Medi-Cal fee-for-service program are able to submit applications through the Provider Application for Validation and Enrollment (PAVE) online enrollment portal.
