Stakeholder Information: Discontinuation of COVID-19 Emergency Fee-For-Service Medi-Cal Enrollment

On February 9, 2023, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) held a public hearing via webinar to discuss the regulatory provider bulletin discontinuing provider enrollment flexibilities authorized by the Section 1135 waiver granted to California by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This regulatory provider bulletin is for providers who applied for temporary and provisional enrollment in the Medi-Cal program in order to be reimbursed for covered services provided to Medi-Cal members during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
